DESCRIPTION:Friday May 1st\, 12-2pm\, Homewood Campus\, The Beach\n\nWe wil
	l be picketing in support of 3 main issues:\n\n * Economic Security - stop
	 funding cuts & restore discretionary budgets\, fund\n   workers until deg
	ree completion\, expand health and dependent care coverage\, &\n   investi
	ng in B’more transit\, including transit passes\n\n * Collective Safety - 
	abolish the Johns Hopkins Police Department\, prioritize\n   international
	 workers’ protection through tax\, visa\, and OIS office resource\n   expa
	nsion\, amend arbitrary OPT/CPT policies\, commit to non-police\n   altern
	atives against ICE  \n\n * Union Power - cease and desist all retaliatory 
	investigations into the union\,\n   end unit erosion\, no surveillance or 
	harassment for political activism\, no\n   dismissal without due process\,
	 respect our CBA (collective bargaining\n   agreement)  \n\nPicketing is a
	 protected labor action\, and TRU is committed to keeping our\ncommunities
	 safe. Masks will be required and provided at the picket. We will\nalso ha
	ve trained marshals and de-escalators to secure the picket line and\nsuppo
